FAQs

My home already looks good. Why would I
need this?
Because looking good and working well are two
different things. A home can be beautiful and still
not run without you.
The kitchen photographs well, but you're still the
one everyone asks where the batteries are. The
closet is styled, but getting dressed for an
important meeting still takes twenty minutes. I'm
not here to make your home prettier. I find the
friction you've stopped noticing and design it out.
-
A traditional organizer starts with your things. I start with you.
Before I touch a drawer, I want to know how you
actually live What your mornings require, who's in
the house, what keeps interrupting you, and how
you want everyday life to feel. Then I design the
system, Where things live, how they get put back,
and what stops depending on your memory. Only
then do I set up the physical space around it.
The result isn't a neater room. It's a household that
needs less of your attention.
I build systems at work all day. Why can't I just
do this myself?
You could. The issue isn't capability. It's visibility.
At work, people tell you where things break. At
home, you're the one quietly compensating, so the
breaks become invisible. You've been walking
around the same small inefficiencies for years.
I come in without that blind spot. I notice the
charger living in the wrong room, the mail with no
first stop, the question three people ask you every
morning. Then I build around it so you don't have to.

What does a household system actually look
like?
It's the process that decides what happens to
something, not just where it sits. Picture a school
morning that runs entirely through you.
Permission slips, sports bags, who has practice,
where the spare key went. All of it lives in your
head, so everyone comes to you. A system changes
that, one launch spot by the door where each person's
things live, one place where school
paperwork lands the day it comes home, and a
shared calendar that catches events before anyone
has to remember them.
The kids stop asking. You stop being the
household's search engine. Mornings get shorter
because nobody is looking for anything.
-
Yes. Scheduling, logistics, and follow up can all run
through whoever manages your calendar.
I'll still want time with you, and anyone else who
lives there, at the start. The system has to fit how
the people in the house actually live, and an
assistant can't tell me that secondhand. After that.
your involvement can be as light as you want.
-
How can you help if you're not physically in my
home?
Most of what I do starts with seeing, not lifting. In
the Virtual Home Consultant session, you walk me
through one space on video.
I
'm watching how you actually use it, where things
land, what's out of reach, what you've quietly
worked around. We talk through what's frustrating
you and how vou want that space to work. Then I
give you a plan for the system and the setup, built
around your habits instead of a generic method.
It's one hour and one space. You leave knowing
exactly what to change and why.
-
For the virtual session, yes you, or someone you
delegate to. The plan is built so you can hand it to
an assistant, house manager, or partner and never
touch a bin yourself.
You'll get a written summary
after the call, so it's easy to pass along.
If vou'd rather have me do the hands on work,
that's what the in home Resets are for.
-
What keeps this from falling apart in three
months?
It's designed around how you actually behave, not
how a home is supposed to work. Most setups fall
apart because they ask people to change their
habits to fit the space.
If your keys always land on the kitchen counter, a
beautiful hook by the front door won't fix that. A
spot on the counter will. When the easiest thing to
do is also the right thing, the system holds without
discipline, labels, or you policing everyone.
And when life changes, like a new baby or a new
role, the system gets adjusted, not rebuilt.
How much of my time does this actually take?
Less than you'd expect, and most of it happens at
the beginning. The Virtual Home Consultant is one
hour.
For in home Resets, to get started, you’ll fill out a client intake form so I can learn more about your needs, and your goals.
Once your form is submitted, we will review your needs and discuss the steps to create a personalized plan for your home.
